VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers are desperately needed to help us offer cancer patients and their families support as they go through their treatment and beyond. Please help us help your community by giving time to one of the following committees:

CAREGIVER BUDDIES: Help the families of a cancer patient cope with the challenges of caring for their loved one while trying to keep a family and often a job going at the same time. Be a sounding board, errand runner or even driver for a family trying to navigate the daunting process of cancer treatment.

OFFICE VOLUNTEER: Spend a day or two a month in the Fighting Chance office on Bay Street in Sag Harbor. Help answer phones, arrange taxi or Jitney rides for patients, and other overall administrative duties.

EVENTS & COMMITTEES: Be part of our fundraising efforts by helping plan and organize our seminars, and special events like our Boaters Against Cancer event or our Annual Gala.

SPECIAL PROJECTS: Have a specific skill you think we could use? We are always looking for Writers, Editors, Grant Experts and other volunteers to help with projects on an ad hoc basis.

Call Fighting Chance today at 631-725-4646 or email to see how you can help us help others.
